Lina and Adrian are Sanford locals to where they chose to hold their wedding at 520 on the Water. They chose this venue specifically for the glass walls and sunset views! On March 11th, 2023, Florida couldn’t have delivered a more perfect day for their wedding. A warm 80 degrees with not a single cloud in the sky, and surprisingly no wind coming off the lake, their ceremony was gorgeous with it’s evening sun.

Lina found me on Facebook through our local groups and when she reached out to me, we instantly clicked. Our personalities and values aligned, making us the perfect fit for working together. Over the last year, we become great friends as we planned for her wedding day. Her and Adrian had been together for 10 years and she knew exactly what she wanted for her wedding day and how she wanted it captured.

Ceremony | 520 on the Water Wedding

Facing north-west and directly on Lake Monroe in Sanford, 520 on the Water boasts a perfect venue location for beautiful sunsets both during ceremony AND reception!

After 10 years, the moment has finally come. Lina had previously joked with Adrian, telling him that if he didn’t cry, she would turn around and walk back down the aisle again. But I can assure you that his tears were 100% authentic. One of the most sweetest moments (and one of my most favorite) that I have ever captured.

Wedding Party

Right on the front patio is where we captured all of their family formals and wedding party. With wooden ceilings, even lighting, shade, and it’s chandelier, this was a wonderful spot to capture everyone’s best selves.

Couples Portraits

Lina and Adrian booked this venue specifically for it’s sunset views so of course she wanted the most perfect sunset photos too. We captured exactly that! And Adrian wanted good sunset photos with his other baby… his Ford Raptor.

One of my most favorite features of 520 on the water are their large glass walls. Not only does it let in the most scrumptious golden glow during sunset, but once it gets dark outside, the string lights reflect off the windows which adds to it’s nighttime ambient lighting during reception.
